Sunshine:” Ooops! Sorry Matt, but there’s not much room in here.”
Matt rubbed his ribs,sterum and left kneecap: “Would you please tell me again why we are making love in the Baptismal Pool? What the hell’s wrong with BED?!”
Sunshine laughed as she repositioned herself:”Hush! Without me you would end up an old fuddy duddy. Besides….teehee….

Matt : “YES!! You certainly do…..
Sunny…..So far we’ve exchanged bodily fluids On the Banks of the Wabash, in a photo booth at the state Fair and once behind The Jones Boy(‘s) restaurant. If I Had My Way we’d be at home right now, all curled up in our nice,COMFORTABLE bed.”
Sunshine:” Yeah, well….Nevertheless…..Till Then……
…..Just grit your teeth and pretend you love me and want to make me happy.”
Matt laughed and nuzzled her neck: ” Awwwwwww, my little Annie Oakley, I DO love you. Whyyyyyy…..I want you to Be My Life’s Companion.”
Sunshine rolled her eyes:”That’s good , honey. Now please hush up and let me concentrate.”
Unbeknowst to the two lovers, Preacher Proffit had entered the church. There was going to be a baptism the following day and he wanted to fill the pool with water.
As the frigid water began to rise, Sunshine let out a bellowing scream!! Preacher Profitt ran out of the church faster than a GlowWorm from an apple about to be digested by a hungry horse!!
Matt:”O M G !!!!! We gotta get outta here!!! The preacher will tell EVERYONE!!!”
Sunshine laughed uncontrollably as she quickly started dressing.
Matt grumbled as he tried to swing his leg over the edge of the pool. In his efforts to hurry, he got his trousers caught on a poster. (((RRRRRRRRRRR……RIP))) “DAMN IT!!!”
Sunshine:”MATT! Stop swearing. You’re in church!!”
Matt:”Hurry up!!!! We can’t be here when he gets back !!”
Sunshine told him that she was in no hurry and would see him at home later that night.
Over his massive shoulder, Matt yelled out: “Okay…Till We Meet Again,” my little horndog.”
As Matt slipped out the back, Preacher Proffit , Doc,Festus and Miss Kitty entered the church.
Preacher Profitt:” I tell you…..I heard an un GODLY scream!!!!”
Festus’ eyes began to twitch.
Miss Kitty took a quick snort of whiskey from the mini bottle she kept stashed in her garter.
Doc rubbed his face.
Doc:”Oh for HEAVEN’S sakes! You sure you haven’t been in the communion wine,preacher?!”
Sunshine, still in the baptismal pool,crouched low and in the corner, covered her mouth to keep from laughing .
Preacher Proffit: “WAIT…….Let us pray…..Ohhhhh Opus One…..Father of ALLLLLLLLLL beings…..please protect us from evil spirits,ghoulies ,ghosties and …and…..”
Kitty chimned in: “Yes, Lord…..And while we’re on the subject…..Please have Sunshine MacMORON leave town ….and…..and PLEASE return Matt to my arms………
LAWD I BESEECH YOU!!!”
And with that, Sunshine let out the most HORRIFIC scream she could conjur up.
Festus banged into Doc who banged into the preacher who tripped over Kitty!!!!!
They finally made their way unto Front Street. Festus saw Matt.
Festus: “MATTHEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!! ”
Matt came running.
Matt:”What on EARTH is wrong?”
They told him what had happened. Matt tried to supress his smile.
Doc:”Hey, Matt. Did you know that your pants are torn?”
Matt glanced down at his trousers. “Oh. yeah. I tore them when I tried to jump out of the…..” He stopped JUST in time!!
Preacher Profitt:” MARSHAL DILLON!!!!!!!”
Doc:” You old rascal, you.”
Miss Kitty: “Dear GAWD!! Have you gone MAD?!! The thought of you and that IMBECILE…..I……. I think I’m going to be sick!”
Festus looked dumfunded:”What in the BLAZES is everyone talkin’ about?!!”
Matt stuck his hands in his pockets and walked off with a sheepish grin.
Later that night……
Matt:”SUNNY? I’m home! Where’s Daddy’s Little Girl? Where’s my pretty Paper Doll? Where’s my ……”
In a hoarse voice:”Back here, in bed. And please lower your voice”
Matt smiled and began unbuckling. “Ready or NOTTTTTTT,here I come!!”
As he entered their bedroom he found Sunshine huddled under the covers.
Sunshine:” Remember the time you told me that When You Were Sweet Sixteen, you caught the worst cold of your life?
Ahhhhhhh CHOOOOOOO!……Well……..YOU GAVE IT TO ME!! ”
Matt:” Oh, no……. Uhhhhhh…..by any chance are you too tired to complete our little ……’project’? ”
Sunshine:”Baby……I need to get to sleep….I’ll See You in My Dreams, though.”
Matt quietly and dejectedly undressed and got in bed.
Sunshine turned to him:” I’m sorry, baby. Do you think you can wait until I get over this?”
Matt smiled and touched her toes with his:” Uh huh…..I’ll Be Around.”
Sunshine smiled weakly:” I know I get us in trouble sometimes, and I don’t always do things in a very adult manner…..”
Matt:”Nevertheless (I’m In Love With You)”

How to Fund an Idea without Using Venture Capital, Angel Investors or Banks
Do you have a creative idea or project that needs funding?
Is keeping 100% ownership and control over your work sound good to you?
The good news is there’s now a way to fund an idea without having to rely on the traditional sources of financing such as venture capitalists, angel investors, or banks.
Let’s face it in today’s economic environment entrepreneurs need a new form of funding and patronage that can support their creative ideas and projects.
So what is it?
It’s called crowd funding.
Did you know that each month, tens of thousands of people are pledging millions of dollars to fund ideas from the worlds of music, film, art, technology, design, food, publishing and other creative fields?
For example, one company called Kickstarter uses crowd funding and utlizes an all or nothing funding approach. What is beneficial with platforms like this is because once an entrepreneur posts a project and sets a funding deadline it can either meet or even surpass the funding goal.
For example, Melissa Niemann who recently posted a Pop Culture Paper Doll Project has already exceeded her funding goal with 20 days still left to go. Her project was even featured on the Kickstarter blog.
This is just one of many examples of how crowd funding can be a great way to fund an idea or project without having to resort to some of the more difficult approaches that entrepreneurs typically lean towards.
If an entrepreneur doesn’t reach their funding goal then all the pledges from backers are canceled and no money is transferred which protects everyone involved with this type of funding.
My good friend Arvind Ramkrishna, owner of Driven Mavens, says “Anyone that is driven and entrepreneurial minded, dreams of starting their own gig and being successful. Often times, getting funding for an idea is difficult. Crowd funding allows you to pitch your idea to the masses to obtain funding for your project without all the headaches and risks that are involved when funding a business with banks and investors.”
Here are some of the additional advantages that crowd funding provides:
*Allows you to test the marketability of your idea
*You keep 100% ownership of your company
*You keep 100% control over your work
*Allows you to connect with people interested in your idea
*Allows you to get feedback from backers
Keep in mind there are project guidelines that sites like Kickstarter have in place so not all projects or ideas are accepted.
For example you cannot submit charity or fundraising projects as well as submit projects to cover company expenses or hiring of web developers.
Another key aspect of crowd funding is the social aspect. What better way to test the market then getting firsthand feedback from people willing to back your project. You can even make adjustments and improvements to better serve the needs of your backers.
Don’t take this kind of feedback lightly because it can help you take your ideas to a whole new level and direction that you may have not considered before.
Another key aspect to funding your idea is in the presentation of your project to potential backers. Video seems to be the preferred method of delivery supported with samples and benefits for backers.
So if you have a great idea and can communicate it effectively then crowd funding with companies like Kickstarter can be a tremendous source of money and encouragement for your project.
